The Chinese Consulate General in Auckland and the New Zealand Chinese Students Association jointly hosted a psychological lecture for overseas students in the consular district on 9 June. Vice Consul General Wang Junchao,the secretary-general of the New Zealand Chinese Scientists Association (NZCSA) Prof. Lu Guoliang,the vice president of NZCSA Associate Prof. Tang Lihua, social practice lecturer in Unitec Chen Zhi and nearly 100 Chinese students attended the event.

In his remarks, Vice Consul General Wang said that Chinese government has always attached great importance to the physical and mental well-being of overseas students. This lecture aims to popularize mental health knowledge and enhance ability to withstand pressure among overseas students in the consular district,creating a safer, healthier and more positive academic environment.

The guests introduced mental health knowledge, stress management skills and related service resources, and interacted with the students.
