On 21 June,Vice Consul General Wang Junchao Attends Closing Ceremony of the Sixth Oceania Chinese Language Teachers’ Conference and delivered remarks.
Vice Consul General Wang highly praised the important role of the conference in advancing regional cooperation in Chinese language education. He acknowledged the dedication of Chinese language teachers to cultural dissemination and enhancement of China–New Zealand people-to-people exchanges. He reaffirmed the Consulate General’s continued support for local Chinese language education, and expressed the hope that teachers will strive to improve teaching quality, tell China’s stories, and deepen regional collaboration to advance the sustainable development of Chinese language education.

The Oceania Chinese Language Teachers’ Conference is a biennial regional platform for professional exchange among Chinese language educators. This year’s conference was co-hosted by the New Zealand Chinese Language Teachers Association (NZCLTA), Tui Tuia Learning Circle, and the Confucius Institute in Auckland. Nearly 100 teachers from New Zealand and Australia participated in the event.
